Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery, Days

About the role

We operate a 13-bed labor and delivery unit with additional overflow rooms, OR suites, and an OB-ED. 24/7 coverage by Hospitalists and a dedicated medical team support patient care. The unit handles laboring, preterm, postpartum, and antepartum patients, adhering to AWHONN standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, following organizational policies, and ensuring quality standards.
• Adhere to staffing ratios of 1:2 for laboring patients, 1:1 for active labor or C-sections, 1:3 for antepartum, and 1:4 for triage/OB-ED.

Requirements

• Nursing degree (bachelor's preferred)
• RN licensure in Georgia
• BCLS certification
• Relevant certifications including ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN fetal monitoring
• New graduates are eligible
• Preferred experience in a hospital setting
• PRN positions require at least 1 year of hospital experience
