Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery - Days

Position: Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery at a Level 2E unit. Responsibilities: Provide professional nursing care per state and hospital policies, utilizing critical thinking to assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations. Delegate appropriate tasks and collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve unit goals. Qualifications & Skills: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; if holding an Associate Degree, must obtain a Bachelor’s Degree within five years. Current Illinois RN licensure, CPR, ACLS, C-EFM, and NRP certifications are required or must be obtained within specified timeframes. Prior labor & delivery experience is preferred. Key Duties: Deliver specialized care to obstetric patients, float to mother-baby units as needed, and adhere to professional standards and policies.
