Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery - Days

About the Role

Provides professional nursing care in accordance with state regulations, hospital policies, and procedures. Employs critical thinking to assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations. Delegates appropriate tasks to staff and collaborates as part of a healthcare team. The role may vary by unit or shift.

• Delegate tasks appropriately and function as a team member to meet unit goals.

Requirements

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if only an Associate Degree.
• Current Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS certification within six months.
• C-EFM certification within one year.
• NRP certification within six months.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of Level III Labor & Delivery experience.
