Qualifications & Skills
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if Associate Degree is held
- Current Illinois RN licensure
- CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- ACLS within six months; C-EFM within one year; NRP within six months of employment
- Preferred: 2+ years of Level III Labor & Delivery experience
Key Duties
- Deliver patient-centered nursing care in labor and delivery units
- Monitor and record patient status, recognize complications, and respond appropriately
- Delegate tasks and collaborate within the healthcare team to ensure quality care
