Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery - Days

Position: Registered Nurse in a Level 2E Labor and Delivery unit. Responsibilities: Provide professional nursing care following state laws and hospital policies. Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations. Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate as part of a team to meet unit goals. Qualifications: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; if only an Associate Degree, must obtain a Bachelor's within five years. Current Illinois RN license. Certifications include CPR, ACLS, C-EFM, and NRP. Labor & Delivery RN experience is preferred. Skills & Requirements: Critical thinking, patient assessment, delegation, teamwork, and adherence to certifications. Flexibility to float to mother-baby units as needed.
