Registered Nurse - Internal Travel Team - PCU

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Internal Travel Team provides patient care across multiple Mayo Clinic sites, including Arizona, Florida, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. They support nursing practice by coordinating care, educating patients and families, and facilitating transitions of care. Responsibilities: Deliver direct patient care, support professional practice, lead quality improvement, mentor colleagues, and delegate tasks appropriately. Support contingency staffing needs through flexible travel and work across diverse units such as PCU and Med/Surg.Qualifications: Requires a nursing degree from an accredited program, at least one year of RN experience in a PCU or ICU, and current multi-state RN licenses. External traveler or float experience, strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills are preferred.Certifications: BLS certification valid for 90 days post-start date. Additional certifications or coursework such as FCCN or ACLS may be required. Additional Details: The role involves variable schedules, weekend rotations, and routine travel to different locations.
