Role Overview

This position is for a registered nurse responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, technically advanced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
  • Supervise and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure age-appropriate care according to standards.
  • Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members to promote understanding and teamwork.
  • Create and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment through accurate medication and IV administration.
  • Support hospital policies, participate in educational processes, and ensure quality documentation.
  • Take accountability for performance, seek professional growth, and improve patient experience.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
  • Current nursing license in Texas.
  • Basic Life Support certification; additional certifications as required.
  • Minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency.
  • Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and care standards.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills, professional initiative, and adaptability to a dynamic healthcare setting.
