About the role

This nursing position involves providing specialized, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver age-appropriate, quality care, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care according to standards and policies
  • Supervise team members and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
  • Document patient information accurately and timely
  • Administer medications and IV therapies safely
  • Support patient education and promote a collaborative work environment
  • Uphold hospital standards and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred
  • Current nursing license in Texas
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum of 12 months critical care RN experience or ICU residency
  • Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and care standards
  • Ability to handle confidential information and work in a physically demanding environment

Additional Details
