About the role

Staff Nurse responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
  • Supervise and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure age-appropriate, safe, and effective care.
  • Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure safe medication and IV administration.
  • Support organizational mission, values, and strategic goals.
  • Take accountability for personal performance and professional development.
  • Create a safe, therapeutic environment and adhere to hospital policies and standards.
  • Engage in continuous improvement of patient experience and team dynamics.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
  • Current Texas nursing license and Basic Life Support certification.
  • Minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of a Nurse Residency Program.
  • Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and nursing care standards.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Physical Requirements
