Registered Nurse - ICU Neonatal - Relocation Required

About the role

The nurse provides independent, comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care activities accurately.
• Evaluates learning needs and educates patients, families, and caregivers.
• Delegates tasks appropriately to care team members to manage clinical situations.
• Provides patient-centered care in a supportive clinical environment.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of practice or a compact license.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications such as NRP and STABLE are necessary within specified timeframes.
• Completion of orientation and annual competency requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
