Registered Nurse - Nursery - Relocation Required

Role Overview

A registered nurse providing independent, routine, and complex patient care within a clinical setting. Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, while addressing emotional, psychological, cultural, and social needs.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process to deliver high-quality care in accordance with standards.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor effects, and document patient information.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to team members to manage clinical situations effectively.
• Meet competency and certification requirements, including BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.
• Participate in orientation, onboarding, and ongoing competency validations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• Certifications in BLS, NRP, and STABLE, with specified grace periods for others based on experience.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate clinical judgment, and communicate effectively.

Additional Requirements

• Attend new nurse orientation and complete annual competency validations.
• Experience in perinatal or similar specialty preferred.
• Position involves working 7PM to 7AM, full-time.
