About the role
This position is for a registered nurse in a full-service hospital setting, providing independent and complex patient care across various clinical areas.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Address patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs
- Administer medications and treatments following protocols
- Document patient information
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- At least 1 year of related nursing experience preferred
- Active RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Specific certifications such as NRP, ACLS, and others are required or must be obtained within specified time frames
