Registered Nurse - House Operations Administrator - Day/Night Rotation

Position: Registered Nurse, RN House Operations Administrator (HOA) Location: Glenview, IL Hours: Full-time, rotating day/night shifts, including holidays and weekends Role Overview: The HOA serves as the top clinical and operational leader during their shift when senior leadership is absent. They oversee hospital-wide clinical operations, patient flow, staffing, safety, and emergency response. The role involves exercising independent judgment, interpreting policies, directing staff, resolving complex issues, and making real-time decisions to ensure high-quality patient care. The HOA coordinates interdepartmental activities, manages capacity and resource needs, and escalates concerns to leadership as needed. They lead responses to clinical emergencies such as RRTs and Code Blue, and conduct safety rounds to mitigate risks. Qualifications And Skills Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s preferredCurrent CPR certification; ACLS certification within 90 days of hireAt least 3 years of progressive nursing experience, including 2 years in leadership rolesExperience in critical care or high-acuity settings is highly preferred Key Duties Provide clinical and operational leadership during assigned shiftsEnsure safe, high-quality patient care and staff supportManage hospital emergency responses and safety initiativesCollaborate with leadership for performance and conduct issuesSupport interdepartmental coordination and resource allocation
