About the Role

Provide clinical leadership and expert guidance to enhance patient care, staff development, and regulatory compliance in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical expert in nursing practice, supporting staff and improving care protocols.
• Conduct training, workshops, and mentorship to promote professional growth.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and develop evidence-based care practices.
• Ensure adherence to policies, regulations, and accreditation standards; assist in audits.
• Address patient and family concerns, advocating for high-quality care.
• Stay current with nursing research and implement evidence-based practices.
• Maintain records of education, quality initiatives, and compliance efforts; generate reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• 5+ years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in inpatient medical/surgical or critical care.
• Current Illinois RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
