About the role
Utilizes the principles of the nursing process to provide for the continuity and quality of nursing care administered to a specific group of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patients consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the Nursing Department and Hospital Administration. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of the patient served on the nursing unit or by patient care department.
Qualifications
- NYS RN License required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- 1–3 years Med/Surg experience required; Endoscopy experience preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Credentials: RN, BLS, ACLS, PALS
Working Conditions
- Manual: Significant manual skills, motor coordination, and finger dexterity
- Occupational: Significant occupational risk
- Physical Effort: Very heavy effort; may exert up to 50 lbs. of force
- Physical Environment: Significant exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
Pay
Hourly range: $48.49 – $73.58
