Registered Nurse - GI - Days
Hourly pay range: $36.00 - $55.80. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights
- Sign-on bonus: $10,000 with 1-year commitment and 1+ years of GI outpatient lab experience
- Full-time position at Glenbrook Hospital with ability to float to Evanston, Skokie, and Highland Park as needed
- Hours: 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with required call (1-2 times weekly and 1-2 weekends per month)
Responsibilities
The Staff Nurse will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. The Staff Nurse will collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited school of Nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
- IL RN license
- CPR: BLS & ACLS required (issued by American Heart Association)
- Critical Care/Emergency Department and conscious sedation experience highly preferred
- Medical Surgical with telemetry monitoring experience preferred
