About the Role

This position involves providing holistic patient care in a general surgery and trauma setting, acting as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, evidence-based treatment and seamless communication among specialties.

Responsibilities

• Implement personalized care plans and monitor clinical conditions to promote patient safety.
• Coordinate discharge planning, assessing and supporting patients and families transitioning home.
• Accurately translate physician orders into bedside actions while adhering to clinical protocols.

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Kansas Board of Nursing.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.
• BLS Provider certification within one month of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
