About the Role

This position involves providing comprehensive patient care in a General Surgery & Trauma setting, acting as the primary care coordinator to ensure safe, evidence-based treatment and effective communication among multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead personalized care plans.
• Monitor clinical conditions.
• Advocate for patients.
• Accurately execute physician orders.
• Coordinate discharge processes to support patients and families beyond hospitalization.
• Execute holistic patient care with safety and evidence-based practices.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts for seamless patient treatment.
• Translate physician orders into bedside actions, upholding clinical standards.
• Assess and coordinate discharge needs, ensuring confident transitions home.

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Kansas Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent licensure.
