Registered Nurse - General Med/Surg

About the role

The Registered Nurse plays a vital leadership role within the healthcare team by building genuine, personalized relationships with patients and their support systems. They collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that promote optimal health or support peaceful end-of-life experiences. Using evidence-based practices and compassion, the nurse guides patients through their health journey, ensuring quality care management in accordance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Accept responsibility, authority, and accountability for care provision.
• Build genuine, personalized relationships with patients and their support systems.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Use evidence-based practices and compassion to guide patients through their health journey.
• Ensure quality care management in accordance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program (preferred).
• Current RN license in the appropriate state.
• At least one year of relevant experience (preferred).
• If licensure has been inactive for five or more years, completion of a refresher course and timely application for reinstatement are required.
