Registered Nurse - General Med/Surg

About the role

The Registered Nurse plays a vital leadership role within the healthcare team by establishing genuine relationships with patients and their support systems. They collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate personalized care plans that promote health or support a peaceful passing. Utilizing scientific evidence and compassion, the nurse guides patients through their health journeys, taking responsibility and accountability for care management in accordance with current policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state required.
• At least one year of relevant experience preferred.
• For inactive, retired, or lapsed licenses over five years, a Board-approved refresher course and timely application for reinstatement are necessary.
