Registered Nurse - Full Time, Swing Shift

About the Role

This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Room, including assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-specific and specialty-appropriate care.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
• Monitor patient signs and symptoms.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Follow physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Perform laboratory procedures as required.
• Adhere to infection control protocols.
• Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Assemble and prepare equipment for diagnostic and treatment procedures.
• Assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures.
• Participate in care planning and evaluation.
• Complete quality assessments and attend staff meetings.
• Perform assigned tasks and additional duties as required.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current RN licensure.
• At least two years of ER or comparable experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Adherence to legal, hospital, and professional standards to ensure safe, effective patient care.
