Registered Nurse - Full Time Swing Shift

Overview

This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Room of a small‑format hospital. The nurse will assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safety, comfort, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age‑specific, specialty‑appropriate nursing care using advanced clinical knowledge.
• Accurately document patient information and monitor physiological signs and symptoms.
• Follow physician orders, assemble equipment, and assist with diagnostic or treatment procedures.
• Perform laboratory tests, collect samples, and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers while maintaining compliance with legal and facility policies.
• Participate in care planning, implementation, and evaluation processes.
• Perform quality assessment activities and attend required staff meetings.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state with no sanctions.
• Minimum of 2+ years of full‑time RN experience in ER or a similar setting.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• Fluency in English, both written and oral.
• For Pennsylvania candidates, necessary background clearances must be completed or obtained prior to employment.
