About the role
This position involves providing advanced nursing care in the Emergency Room, including assessing, planning, and evaluating patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Delivering age-specific and specialty-appropriate care
- Documenting accurately
- Monitoring patient signs and symptoms
- Maintaining confidentiality
- Following physician orders
- Performing laboratory procedures in compliance with regulations
- Assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Assembling diagnostic equipment
- Participating in care planning and evaluation
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree (BSN preferred)
- Current state RN licensure
- At least 2 years of ER or comparable experience
Required Certifications
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS from recognized organizations
- TNCC preferred
Additional Requirements (Pennsylvania)
Completion of Act 33 and Act 73 clearances within the last five years or prior to start.
