Registered Nurse - Full Time Swing

Position Overview

This role involves performing as a nurse in the Emergency Room, focusing on patient assessment, planning, and evaluation of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific, specialty-appropriate nursing care, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Complete accurate and legible documentation on medical records.
• Monitor, observe, and record patient signs, symptoms, and behaviors, including physiological status.
• Propose revisions to interventions and desired outcomes.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Follow physician orders and perform laboratory sampling and testing in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Adhere to infection control, isolation, and aseptic techniques.
• Manage admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
• Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for diagnostic or treatment procedures and assist with treatments as needed.
• Perform quality assessment activities and document findings.
• Attend staff or mandated meetings.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions.
• Minimum of 2+ years RN experience in ER or similar setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• Fluency in English, both written and oral.
• For Pennsylvania candidates, background clearances must be completed within the last 5 years or obtained prior to start.
