Registered Nurse - Full Time Swing

About the role

Provides primary nursing care in the Emergency Room, focusing on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure safety, comfort, and individualized treatment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age‑specific and specialty‑appropriate nursing care using advanced clinical knowledge.
• Accurately document patient information and observe physiological signs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow physician orders.
• Collect lab samples, perform tests, and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Manage admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
• Assist with diagnostic or treatment procedures and assemble necessary equipment.
• Participate in care planning, evaluation, and quality assessment activities.
• Attend staff meetings and perform additional assigned duties.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the state without sanctions.
• At least 2 years of full‑time RN experience in ER or a similar setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• For Pennsylvania candidates: Act 33 and Act 73 clearances completed within the last 5 years or obtained prior to start.
