Registered Nurse - Full Time - Nights

About the role

This role involves providing comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care based on biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences, adhering to ethical standards and scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct holistic patient assessments and recognize abnormal data for early intervention.
• Develop and prioritize individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and families, communicating effectively during handoffs and care conferences.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, educate patients and families, and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Continuously evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Document care accurately in electronic records.
• Maintain professional growth through leadership, mentorship, participation in quality improvement, and research activities.
• Participate in staff meetings, unit initiatives, and community service.
• Maintain competency in point-of-care testing and specialty certifications.

Requirements

• Current Ohio RN licensure with BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within 6 months for specific units.
• Educational requirements vary; preference for BSN within five years of hire.
• MSN or DNP preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills and cultural competence.
• Commitment to professional development.
