Registered Nurse - Full Time - Nights

About the role

A registered nurse responsible for delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care based on biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct holistic evaluations of patients' physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational needs; recognize abnormal data and safety risks.
• Identify patient problems, develop and communicate individualized care plans with measurable goals, and coordinate discharge planning.
• Deliver evidence-based care, delegate tasks, educate patients and families, respond to emergencies, and ensure safety protocols to prevent contamination.
• Monitor and adjust care plans based on patient outcomes, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
• Accurately record all care activities and patient responses in electronic medical records.
• Demonstrate leadership by motivating and mentoring staff, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and pursuing ongoing professional growth and certifications.

Requirements

• Current Ohio RN licensure and BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months for specific units.

Qualifications

• All hires after January 2010 must obtain a BSN within five years; prior experience allows voluntary pursuit.
• MSN or DNP preferred but not required.
