About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient-centered care by utilizing knowledge from biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences.
Responsibilities
- Conduct holistic assessments
- Diagnose and prioritize patient problems
- Develop and communicate individualized care plans
- Implement evidence-based interventions
- Evaluate patient outcomes
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
- Document care accurately in electronic records
- Respond effectively to emergency situations
- Motivate and mentor team members
- Participate in quality improvement activities, professional development, and research initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Ohio RN licensure
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification may be required for specific units
- All hired after January 2010 must obtain a BSN within five years
