Registered Nurse - Full Time - Nights

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides holistic, patient-centered care utilizing nursing sciences to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care based on established models and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational needs; recognize abnormal data; communicate changes promptly; ensure safety.
• Diagnosis & Planning: Identify patient problems; develop and update individualized, measurable care plans in collaboration with patients and families; communicate plans effectively.
• Implementation: Deliver evidence-based care, delegate tasks appropriately, provide patient education, respond to emergencies, and maintain a safe environment.
• Evaluation: Monitor and adjust care based on patient responses; ensure continuity during handoffs and transfers.
• Documentation: Accurately record all aspects of care, updates, and patient responses in electronic medical records.
• Leadership & Development: Demonstrate leadership, mentor peers, participate in quality improvement, self-review, and professional growth activities; serve as an educator and resource.

Requirements

• Current Ohio RN licensure and BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within six months for certain units.
• BSN required within five years of hire; MSN or DNP preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication, cultural competence, adaptability, and commitment to professional growth.

Skills

• Participation in professional organizations, ongoing education, and specialty certifications encouraged.
