Registered Nurse - Full Time - Nights

About the role

The registered nurse (RN) provides patient-centered, culturally sensitive care by utilizing a comprehensive nursing process that includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct holistic patient assessments.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Develop and update individualized care plans.
• Execute evidence-based interventions.
• Evaluate patient outcomes.
• Document all care accurately in electronic records.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations.
• Demonstrate leadership skills, including motivating and mentoring team members.
• Participate in professional development activities such as staff meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and research projects.
• Act as an educator and resource within the team.
• Maintain competencies and support ongoing professional growth.

Requirements

• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within six months for specific units.
• BSN required within five years of hire for those without it (advanced degrees such as MSN or DNP are optional).
