Registered Nurse - Full-Time - Night Shift

About the Role

Provides leadership and delivers professional nursing care in a dynamic acute care setting, supporting patient comfort and well-being. Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to care for patients and their families, including delegation, supervision, and documentation of care. Implements medically prescribed interventions and performs procedures as ordered.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and shifts, reporting changes.
• Perform procedures and interventions per medical provider orders.
• Document care accurately and timely in medical records.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification required.

Preferred Qualifications

• National certification in specialty area.
• One year of hospital nursing experience.
