Registered Nurse - Full-Time Night Shift
About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses residents' health, educational, and environmental needs; develops and updates individualized care plans through an interdisciplinary approach; administers medications, treatments, and IV fluids safely and accurately; and documents all assessments and interventions in compliance with regulatory standards.
The RN utilizes critical thinking to respond to changes in residents' conditions, communicates effectively with physicians, residents, families, and team members using SBARR, monitors care delivery, and addresses issues through the QAPI process. Additional duties include assisting with resident activities of daily living (ADLs), responding to call lights, and participating in ongoing nursing education to maintain current knowledge of best practices.
Requirements
- Licensed RN with graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license in the applicable state
- CPR/AED certification (or willing to obtain within six months)
- Critical thinking, strong communication, and organizational skills
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and transfer residents and equipment safely
- Manual dexterity, visual acuity, and proficiency in electronic and written documentation
Qualifications
- Long-term care experience is preferred
