About the role
We are seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse to perform patient assessment, planning, and care in a small-format hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide age-specific and specialty-appropriate nursing care, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Accurately document patient information and observations
- Monitor physiological signs and behaviors, and update care plans accordingly
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
- Follow physician’s orders and adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques
- Collect laboratory samples, perform tests, and manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Assist with diagnostic or treatment procedures and assemble necessary equipment
- Participate in care assessment, planning, and evaluation, along with quality assessment activities
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree (BSN preferred)
- Current state RN licensure without sanctions
- At least 2 years of full-time ER or comparable experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; ENPC or TNCC preferred
- Fluency in English and clear communication skills
