About the role
The Registered Nurse in this position provides high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute care setting, collaborating with medical providers to support pre-operative and post-operative patients.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions during admission and shifts, reporting changes promptly.
- Perform procedures and administer medications as ordered, monitoring patient responses.
- Document care accurately and thoroughly in medical records.
- Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensure with a Bachelor's or Associate Degree.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment.
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and procedural skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and support a compassionate, patient-focused environment.
