About the role
Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient/family-centered care through evidence-based nursing practices.
Responsibilities
- Conducts comprehensive patient assessments, develops and updates individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients, and ensures effective communication of changes.
- Delivers direct patient care, delegates tasks appropriately, monitors care quality, and ensures safety protocols are followed.
- Utilizes performance indicators for quality improvement, documents accurately, and evaluates patient responses to interventions.
- Educates patients and families, promotes discharge planning, and advocates for patient needs.
- Participates in performance improvement activities and maintains compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Requires an associate degree in nursing (bachelor's preferred), RN licensure, and at least one year of RN experience or equivalent residency/training.
- Knowledge of safety, regulatory, and compliance standards is essential.
- Strong assessment, communication, delegation, and critical thinking skills are necessary.
Non-management role reporting to supervisory staff. Night shift availability. Must hold a current multi-state or state-specific RN license.
