About the role
We are seeking a registered nurse (RN) to provide family-centered care in the Labor and Delivery unit of a busy Family Birth Center.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating nursing care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum patients, and newborns
- Supporting patient and family education and transitions of care
- Assisting with perioperative care for procedures such as cesarean births and miscarriage interventions
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, lactation consultants, social workers, and others
- Providing leadership through preceptor and quality improvement roles
- Delegating patient care based on skill level and patient acuity
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- At least one year of RN experience
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
- Current RN licensure and BLS certification
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to unpredictable situations

Schedule
- 12-hour shifts across days and nights
- Every third weekend
