Registered Nurse - Family Birth Center: Labor/Delivery

Role Overview: Provide comprehensive nursing care in a Family Birth Center, supporting antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum patients, and their newborns. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, lactation consultants, social workers, and educators to deliver family-centered, couplet care. Key Responsibilities Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care, education, and care transitions.Support patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum, assisting with perioperative procedures such as cesarean sections and special maternal procedures.Participate in quality improvement, mentorship, and leadership activities.Assist in triage, patient assessment, and family education at the designated triage area. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program with at least one year of RN experience.Current RN license and BLS certification.Excellent communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and computer skills.Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Preferred experience with electronic medical records and leadership qualities.
