Registered Nurse - Family Birth Center - Labor and Delivery

About the Role

We are seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive care in a family-centered maternity unit, including labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care
• Support patient and family education
• Facilitate transitions of care
• Participate in quality improvement and leadership activities
• Manage labor and perform perioperative procedures
• Support family involvement
• Ensure safety and comfort for patients and newborns

Unit Details

Support antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum patients, and newborns in a dynamic environment with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurse midwives, and lactation consultants.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• One year of RN experience required; Baccalaureate degree preferred if recent graduate
• Current RN license, BLS certification, and relevant state licensure
• Proficiency with electronic medical records
• Adaptable to flexible schedules
