Position: RN - Adult Psychiatry
Location: Evanston Hospital, Evanston, IL
Type: Full-Time, 40 hours/week
Schedule
Evening shift (3:00‑11:30 pm) with rotating weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to adult psychiatric patients
- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Supervise and guide unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
- Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experiences
Qualifications & Skills
- Current Illinois Nursing License
- Graduation from an NLN-accredited nursing school; BSN preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- Experience in adult psychiatry preferred
