Provide high-quality, evidence-based emergency nursing care to patients in the ER.
Assess patient condition, triage, and initiate appropriate treatment plans.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to coordinate urgent care.
Prioritize patient safety and adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
Meet performance targets and contribute to ER throughput and daily targets.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
Maintain accurate personal metrics and contribute to visibility of work activity in pipelines.
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.
Participate in on-site training and drills to improve readiness for emergencies.
Support other team members during high-demand periods while ensuring accountability.
- RN license valid for the state of practice with current BLS/ACLS certification.
- Emergency Nursing experience or acute care exposure in ER settings.
- Strong triage skills and rapid assessment to initiate treatment plans.
- Ability to meet throughput targets while maintaining patient safety and quality.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and accurate documentation.
- Collaborative communication with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff.
- Infection control adherence and safety protocol compliance.
