About the role

The Registered Nurse plays a vital leadership role within the healthcare team by establishing authentic, personalized relationships with patients and their support systems. They collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that promote optimal health or peaceful death. The nurse utilizes evidence-based practices and compassion to guide patients through their health journeys.

Responsibilities

• Managing and providing care in accordance with current policies and procedures
• Accepting responsibility, authority, and accountability for patient care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state
• If licensure has been inactive for five or more years: complete a Board-approved refresher course and apply for licensure reinstatement within one year of course completion
