Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Mid Shift

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting. Collaborating with medical providers and care teams, the RN assesses patient needs, manages pain, performs procedures, and documents care thoroughly. They serve as advocates for patients and families, teaching about medical conditions, treatments, medications, and lifestyle modifications to promote understanding and self-management. The role emphasizes empowering nurses to influence patient care, uphold organizational values, and contribute to positive clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and reassess patient pain for effective management
• Perform procedures, monitor patients, and document care accurately
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up care

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license and diploma
• Required certifications include Trauma Nursing, PALS, ACLS, and BLS, obtained within specified timeframes
• No prior experience required
