Registered Nurse - Day/Evening Shifts

Position: Registered Nurse Location: LOH Main - Naperville Hours: Full-time, 36 hrs/week, 7am-7:30pm Role And Responsibilities Assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, document care, and evaluate outcomes.Welcome patients, promote a safe and therapeutic environment, and oversee rounds and precautions.Coordinate with departments for patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring clear communication.Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to address physical, psychosocial, and discharge needs.Participate in departmental goal setting, quality improvement, and staff development.Assist in hiring, training, and supervising staff, and serve as a role model and resource.Attend training, explain policies, and engage with community groups to promote mental health awareness.Supervise patient care within budget constraints, optimizing staffing and resources. Qualifications And Skills Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification.Preferred psychiatric experience and knowledge of abnormal psychology.Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional competence.Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification within 90 days of hire.
