Registered Nurse - Day/Evening Shifts

Position: Registered Nurse Location: LOH Main- Naperville Hours: Full-time, 36 hrs/week, 7am-7:30pm Responsibilities include: assessing patient conditions, developing and administering care plans, documenting care, and evaluating outcomes. You will welcome patients, promote a safe therapeutic environment, collaborate on admissions, transfers, and discharges, and interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams to address physical, psychosocial, and discharge needs. You will participate in interdisciplinary planning, contribute to department goals, assist in staff selection and orientation, and support program evaluation. Supervisory duties and resource management are also part of the role. Qualifications: nursing degree, current Illinois RN license, CPR certification, and CPI certification within 90 days of hire. Preferred qualifications include psychiatric experience, knowledge of abnormal psychology, and familiarity with therapeutic systems. Skills required: confidentiality, professional nursing skills, teamwork, communication, and adaptability. The role emphasizes professional growth, participation in training, and community engagement.
