Registered Nurse - Critical Care - Night Shift

About the Role

Part-time position (24 hours per week) with night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, including every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment and collect health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.
• Communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and in writing.
• Individualize patient and family education based on thorough assessments.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
• Deliver high-quality, individualized nursing care in a critical care setting, ensuring safety, effective communication, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois nursing license.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
