About the Role
Provide safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care within a specific ICU unit. Utilize the nursing process for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. Supervise and guide unlicensed assistive personnel, communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes, and contribute to safety and high-quality patient experiences.
Responsibilities
- Work night shifts, with weekend and holiday requirements
- Serve multiple locations in Illinois
- Adhere to per diem hours based on level
- Promote safety, quality care, and teamwork
Requirements
- Current Illinois nursing license
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
- BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of two years recent acute care critical care experience with telemetry competence
- Ability to demonstrate telemetry skills within 14 days of hire
- Critical care experience preferred
