Registered Nurse - Critical Care - Night Shift

Location: Arlington Heights, IL

About the role

Full-time, 36 hours per week, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM, every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collects health data involving patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Coordinates patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.
• Communicates effectively with patients and colleagues in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Personalizes patient and family education based on thorough assessments.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
• Maintains current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois nursing license.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
