Responsibilities

• Function as an expert clinical nurse resource assisting team members, physicians, patients, and the community in new or complex interventions
• Act as a role model by demonstrating current trends and providing professional development opportunities for team members
• Independently develop, implement, and evaluate an educational plan to meet the needs of team members
• Actively participate in the research process and utilize the information to further enhance patient care
• Function in the role of the clinical nurse specialist to nursing staff, administrators, physicians, and the community
• Facilitate patient teaching and support programs utilizing the nursing process

Requirements

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire
• ACLS required
• At least 3 years of recent critical care or telemetry experience strongly preferred
• Cath lab recovery experience preferred
• Concentration on educating high risk for readmission discharge patients and families
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire

Pay

Minimum rate of $45.14 hourly. HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members.
