Registered Nurse - Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit, Part-Time Nights

About the role

This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for coordinating comprehensive nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and care transitions. The RN supports professional practice across various settings, adhering to the Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model and ANA standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of nursing care.
• Provide leadership through mentorship and quality improvement activities.
• Delegate tasks based on skill, experience, and available resources.
• May require driving and participation in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate nursing degree.
• Preferred one year of RN or LPN experience.
• Valid RN licensure and BLS certification required.
• Additional state licenses or certifications as needed.
