About the role
This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for coordinating nursing care, including direct patient care, patient and family education, and care transitions. The RN supports professional nursing practice across various settings, adhering to the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model and ANA standards.
Responsibilities
- Planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating all phases of nursing care
- Providing leadership through mentorship, committee participation, and quality improvement activities
- Delegating tasks based on skill, experience, and patient acuity
- Demonstrating excellent communication, critical thinking, and mentoring skills
Qualifications
- Baccalaureate nursing degree
- Current RN licensure
- Preferred experience of one year in an applicable care setting
- Additional licensure or certifications may be required based on the work area
